The work is part of a series I am currently working on exploring water and the seabed.
This conquering ocean tells a poetic and unsettling story of anticipation, where water reclaims what we have built. These submerged scenes offer a contemplative look at the fragility of our daily lives when faced with the elements, while retaining a playful dimension. Water here becomes a metaphor for passing time, for fading memory, but also for the melancholic beauty of lost worlds.
