JR – Les Rides de la ville
This lithograph is from the project “Wrinkles of the City,” presented in several cities around the world where «wrinkles» can be found, both human and architectural.
A precious relic of passing time, old age is displayed on the walls of Cartagena, Spain, in the autumn of 2008. The oldest inhabitants of this Spanish city appear on the heights of the city. The faces of men, hollowed by the civil war, stand out on the facades steeped in history.
