Each of Julien Raffin's works is a window onto a bygone Paris, reinvented.
Composed from old archives, personal photographs, and found documents, his images reconstruct the city as one reconstructs a memory. Printed on watermarked paper, they blur the boundaries between past and present, freeze the ephemeral, and question what remains when the city sheds its skin.
This artwork is a unique piece, hand-signed by the artist.
