Sonia Delaunay is a Ukrainian-French artist, a prominent figure of the Orphism movement, a variation of Cubism that emphasizes color and light. She is best known for her innovative paintings and textile designs, where she revolutionized the fusion of abstraction and color. 

In collaboration with her husband, the artist Robert Delaunay, she explored the concept of simultaneity, seeking to capture the effects of light and movement. Sonia Delaunay also influenced fashion, creating clothing and fabrics with vibrant patterns.
