Laurena
Laurena Behar is a Parisian artist who grew up in the heart of the French capital. She captures the essence of nature through a bestiary of animals and lush vegetation, which she affectionately calls “vegetations.” A graduate of a prestigious applied arts school in the center of Paris, she uses fine-tip markers and Pantones to create captivating works that tell unique visual stories. Additionally, she also explores watercolor to enrich her artistic expression.
Residing in an artists' studio in Puteaux for over six years, Laurena shared her art with her community, eager to discover her phantasmagorical universe. Her talent blossomed in childhood, crowned by a first prize in a global drawing competition at the age of 10, where her work shone in Tokyo, under the watchful eye of Jacques Chirac, then mayor of Paris.
