Jérôme Mesnager
Jérôme Mesnager was born on January 29, 1961, in Colmar. In 1974, he entered the Boulle School to train as a cabinetmaker, a subject he would later teach at the same school. He subsequently took comic strip courses taught by professors at the School of Applied Arts, Yves Got and Georges Pichard.
The French artist is the co-founder of "Zig-Zag," an artist collective that creates graffiti in abandoned locations. His first White Man appeared in 1983, a "symbol of light, of peace and strength." His work can be seen all over Paris, as well as around the world in places like China, Japan, Senegal, Italy, and Gambia.
