Fouapa’s work «En transit» shows a snake devouring the Paris metro, creating an image that is both surprising and symbolic.
She represents the network of the Paris Métro as a prey, in a metaphor of movement, urban circulation and the living city. The Serpent snake reinforces the idea of an underground and organic system that devours and transforms the city continuously.
