In this work, I revisited Kanagawa’s Great Wave, a print that I particularly appreciate and which reflects my admiration for Hokusai. This emblematic visual fascinates me with the contrast it creates between the almost violent power of the wave and the serenity of Mount Fuji in the distance. Upon closer inspection of the work, you will discover several words in English that convey the emotions and ideas it inspires me. I also extended the drawing along the edges of the canvas to accentuate the movement of the water and give the composition a more immersive dimension.«
