Born in 1986 in Brest, Tom GELEB is a self-taught artist who grew up in French Polynesia, a major influence on his visual universe. Based in Paris, he has been developing a body of work since 2015 centered on love and kindness, embodied by the recurring character Téva, a «heart blower» with motifs inspired by Polynesian tattooing. Present both on canvas and in urban spaces, Téva invites himself into everyday life as a poetic and humanist symbol, recalling the essential place of love in ordinary gestures.
