Known for his mosaics made from stained glass tiles mounted on wood, the artist here surprises us by using Game Boy game cartridges as the main material. This bold choice transforms retro objects into true pixel art compositions, paying homage to the video game aesthetic of the 90s. An exceptional piece, this creation demonstrates that pixel art can break free from traditional media to express itself through any medium. By repurposing these cartridges from their original use, The Mosaist pushes the boundaries of contemporary mosaic art and offers a work that is both nostalgic, innovative, and resolutely modern.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
