These LEGO sculptures represent Daft Punk in a chibi interpretation, deliberately refined and instantly recognizable. The iconic helmets, one silver and the other gold, concentrate the duo\u2019s identity in a few striking elements. The compact silhouettes, built from black and gray bricks, affirm a presence that is both playful, graphic and instantly legible. The choice of the chibi style allows for an assumed simplification of the forms without losing any sense of meaning. Daft Punk is not described by the details here, but by the essentials. The helmets become universal, almost abstract faces, evoking both technology, anonymity and creative freedom.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
