Each work by Julien Raffin is a window into a bygone, reinvented Paris. Composed from old archives, personal photographs, and found documents, his images reconstruct the city as one reconstructs a memory. Printed on filigree paper, they blur the boundaries between past and present, freeze the ephemeral, and question what remains when the city changes its skin. This work is limited to just 5 copies, each hand-signed by the artist.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
