Each composition is a sensitive reinterpretation of the city, captured in its graphic chaos and visual effervescence.<\/p>\n<p>Removed directly from the walls, the layers of posters are <strong>torn, juxtaposed, cropped<\/strong>, and then re-worked in a workshop. Lasveguix's gesture is as akin to that of a surgeon as to that of a visual archaeologist. The result is a <strong>&#8220;peau de mur&#8221;<\/strong>, living matter, decomposed memory of public space.<\/p>\n<p>In this piece, the artist explores the tension between <strong>Wear and tear and graphics<\/strong>, between the randomness of tears and the mastery of composition.
