Push my buttons:Nes
Painting
90 × 60 cm
In Push My Buttons, Arlo Sinclair reclaims an iconic object of popular culture—a retro game controller—to transform it into a symbolic and emotional playground. Presented frontally, almost solemnly, the controller becomes an object charged with desire, nostalgia, and implicit tension.
Through this work, Arlo Sinclair questions our relationship with control, interaction, and the invisible mechanisms that trigger emotions and reactions. Between collective memory and coded language, Push My Buttons stands out as a piece that is at once pop, ironic, and deeply contemporary.
